About these terms
These terms apply whenever you use aknbglobal.com or place an order with us. By placing an order you confirm that you accept them, so please read them before you buy. If there is anything here you do not understand or do not agree with, contact us before ordering rather than afterwards.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published on the day you placed it.
Who you are contracting with
AKNB Global is an independent online retailer operating the store at aknbglobal.com. We source products from international suppliers and arrange for them to be shipped directly to you. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any manufacturer whose products we sell, unless we specifically say so.
Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen years old, or the age of majority in your country, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that you meet that requirement and that the payment method you are using belongs to you or that you have permission to use it.
Products and descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can, using information provided by our suppliers. Product photographs are intended to show the item fairly, but colours can appear differently on different screens, and finishes can vary slightly between production batches. Small variations of that kind are normal and are not a defect.
Dimensions and weights are approximate unless stated otherwise. Where a product is sold in a set, the description states what is included; accessories shown in photographs for scale or styling are not included unless listed.
We do not warrant that products are suitable for any particular purpose beyond their ordinary use. If you need a product for a specific technical requirement, please ask us before ordering.
Prices and currency
Our base currency is the United States dollar. If you see prices displayed in another currency, that is a conversion provided for your convenience, calculated using an exchange rate that updates periodically. It is an approximation, not a quotation.
The amount actually charged is processed in the currency shown at checkout. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate and may charge a foreign transaction fee. Those charges are set by your bank, not by us, and we have no visibility of them.
We try to keep prices accurate, but errors occasionally happen. If we discover that a product has been listed at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact you before dispatching, and you may either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We will never simply charge you more than the price you agreed.
Placing an order
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. That offer is accepted when we send you an order confirmation email. Until then, no contract exists between us.
Occasionally a product turns out to be unavailable after an order is placed, because supplier stock information can lag behind reality. If that happens we will contact you promptly and offer either a replacement, a partial fulfilment, or a full refund of the unavailable item. We will not substitute a different product without asking you first.
Payment
Payment is taken at the time of ordering through Cashfree. We do not see or store your card details at any point. If a payment fails or is later reversed, we reserve the right to cancel the order and to withhold dispatch until payment is successfully completed.
Delivery, duties and taxes
Delivery timescales given anywhere on this site are estimates based on typical performance, not guarantees. Actual delivery time depends on the carrier, on customs processing and on circumstances outside our control such as weather, public holidays and border delays.
Import duties, customs charges and local taxes are the responsibility of the customer unless the product page or checkout explicitly states that duties are included. Every GCC country applies its own duty and tax thresholds, and parcels above those thresholds may attract charges that the carrier will collect before delivery. We recommend checking your own country’s current thresholds if you are ordering higher-value items. We cannot predict, control or refund charges levied by a customs authority.
If a parcel is refused at delivery because the recipient does not wish to pay a customs charge, it is treated as a refused delivery under our returns policy.
Cancellations
You may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet been prepared for dispatch, and we will refund you in full. Once an order has been prepared for dispatch or handed to the carrier it can no longer be cancelled, and the returns policy applies instead. Because we aim to dispatch quickly, the window for cancellation can be short, so please contact us as soon as possible if you change your mind.
Returns and refunds
Our returns and refunds policy forms part of these terms and is published separately on this website. Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence.
Accounts
If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity that takes place under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has gained access. We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently or abusively.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site to commit fraud, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, to scrape our content systematically, to place orders you do not intend to pay for, or to post reviews or content that is false, abusive, or infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content and refuse service where these terms are broken.
Intellectual property
The design, text, layout and branding of this site belong to AKNB Global. Product images and specifications may belong to the manufacturers or suppliers concerned. You may not reproduce our site content commercially without permission.
Limitation of liability
We accept liability for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not accept liability for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Reviews and user content
If you leave a product review, you confirm it reflects your genuine experience. We publish both positive and negative reviews. We may remove reviews that are abusive, defamatory, off-topic or clearly fraudulent, but we do not remove reviews simply because they are critical.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, contact us first. Most problems are resolved quickly once we know about them. We would much rather hear directly from you than have you unable to reach us.
